The Pipe End Cap is a tube that is designed as the end of the pipe and is shaped like a human cap and is therefore referred to as a Pipe End Cap. In the range of butt welded pipe fittings, the welding of the steel pipe cap and the pipe can directly prevent the flow in the pipe system.
It is usually made of a piece of steel, so it is seamless. Our tube end caps come in a variety of shapes such as hemispherical, elliptical, round and so on.

The Pipe End Cap is generally processed by two methods: molding and spinning. The bottom of the molded flat-bottomed head has a high flatness, large size and high cost, and is suitable for the equipment with higher requirements. However, the bottom of the flat-bottomed head produced by the spinning process is slightly worse, and the material is cut off. The size is smaller and the cost is lower, but it does not affect the use of general equipment.
The characteristics of the spinning head are: a large workpiece can be formed with a small deformation force; the equipment is relatively simple, and the small and medium-sized thin plate parts can be spun by a common lathe; the mold is simple, only one core mold is required, and the material requirement is low.
The cap is welded to the tube end or to the external thread of the tube end to cover the tube of the tube. It is used to close the pipeline and function the same as the pipe plug.
